Project description:

For the heat network in Central and West Brabant with 51,000 connected households and more than 350 connected companies, Ennatuurlijk is building an E-boiler installation to make this heat network more sustainable. At the Ennatuurlijk pumping station in Geertruidenberg, two E-boilers are being built for this purpose, each with a capacity of 60 MW. These E-boilers, which function as giant kettles, use green electricity to heat water. For the construction of the E-boiler, Ennatuurlijk has signed a contract with Equans, a renowned partner with expertise in energy projects.

Activities of Energy Solutions:

Energy Solutions has been commissioned by Equans to support them with the design and construction of the 150 kV grid connection and the medium-voltage grid of the E-boilers. This includes coordination with TenneT, basic design of the entire system, specification and tendering of various components (including the 150/22 kV transformer) and guidance and support in the detailed design and construction of this HV and MV system.
